5 Of My Favorite Places In The World

I have been very fortunate throughout my life to be able to travel throughout the world. There are many places I've been to, but I still have many I want to see.
My family has traveled quite a bit; I moved 11 times in 9 years and I never really disliked the whole moving thing. I did grow tired of being the 'new girl' in schools every so often, but I was in elementary school.

Here is a list of all the places I recommend for vacations, places that my family and/or I love and can't wait to return to. They are, however, not listed in any particular order.

1. Bodrum, Turkey
We traveled to Bodrum in 2010 and it was so amazing. We stayed in a resort that had access to the beach and a big pool. One of us would go down and reserve seats on the beach, then spend all day relaxing on the beach, swimming in the pool or sea, eating the great Mediterranean food and exploring the town! I definitely recommend traveling to Bodrum and exploring!

2. New York City, New York
I visited NYC with my family the summer of 2014. We stayed in an apartment in the business district where we could go by subway quickly anywhere we wanted. We went to Times Square, Staten Island, The Empire State Building, the National History Museum, MoMA, and many more. If you're going to New York, you have to do everything! I can't wait to go back to New York.

3. London, England
I've been very fortunate to be able to visit London a couple of times. Once with my family, and once with a school trip in college. It is such a beautiful country and there are so many things to do and see. Plus, there are all the kitchy things that I love when going to a heavy tourist area like; riding the 'tube' (subway), going on Big Ben, taking a picture with a red phonebooth, try to get the palace guards to smile, etc. London is amazing and I hold my memories of my time in London very dear.

4. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Hilton Head Island is the best beach vacation I've had in the United States. It's my family's favorite vacation spot, we've been there 3 times and every time we are talking about going on vacation, my sisters and I always bring up Hilton Head. I partially think that the reason we like it so much is because we have been able to rent a house close to the beach and walk into town, to the beach or pool. We also visited Charleston a few times, it is definitely worth making the drive to walk around the town and visiting a few museums.

Every time we go we take a picture in front of this tree. This was from the last time we went.

5. Rome, Italy
If you are looking for a place full of history, culture, wonderful food, and mostly everything in walking distance, Rome is the place to go. It's beautiful and so interesting, a great place to visit. I would definitely recommend going to The Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, The Trevi Fountain, and then just walk around and experience the city.

What are your favorite places in the world??
